My vote would go for the E-Tec & I'm the owner of a 2007 Merc 75HP 4S []

2 years ago I would have said 4 stroke was the best choice but 2s have been winning me over lately. If it was just a kicker i would say 4 stroke for sure. One might consider how long your going to keep the boat as emissions laws will change in time. some places are outlawing 2 stokes and noise levels have to meet a certain db.

Yamaya, its not as fast, but more reliable,my buddy has the 2 stroke model.Alfred is my paraplegic friend. He is my best bud.I rarely beat him at fishing, sometimes twice a year if I'm lucky, today we went to this canal for the first time this year.I caught twice as many 2,lol.he caught 1 in 51/2 hours, nearly left, but stayed. Alfred needs something reliable,I also have a quadriplegic friend, but he can't fish, but enjoys getting out there. We do what I can to help each other out.Thats what fishermen are for.[]P.S watever you do don't get a 4 stroke...nothing personal, just ....nevermind,watever suits you, enjoy.[]
As you can see Alfreds motor gets the job done, sometimes we come across shallow areas where the lighter motor is a must.Last two pics are our best personal catches for each of us while boating with a 115 2 stroke yamaha..P.J. [signature] |
