Been reading forum for years and finally decided today gonna try to put first report on here whether skunked or anything to brag or talk about. Put in at wolftever around 6:40 am. Fished islands around island cove marina and the few humps in Harrison bay I know to try with shaky head and c-rig till bout noon. Al and I both boated 3 lm . I had one nice fish - no scales to weigh but was 21 inches and fat (gonna try to put pic on here). Have had a good spring with 9 fish over 5 pounds. We usually don't get the numbers of fish that lot of guys get but have averaged probably 10 fish per trip. Problem for me seems to me I've gotten pigeon-holed into 1 way of doing things (same spots, same baits, same fishing hours, even the same thing for breakfast) and it don't work at all when dog days get here. Real nice temps today- dread the dog days!
