warm river advice
#1
so I finally get a chance to fish the warm river tonight and tomorrow morning thanks to my girlfriends dad and his business travels Smile (lucky me)...only problem is I'm new to fiahing the area and this is my girlfriends dad first fishing trip...ever lol. I'm wanting to get him in to some fish (most likely on conventional tackle with a worm) and of course some fish for me on fly. if anyone has any advice on where or why they're biting on we'd appreciate it. we'll be staying in Ashton and probably willing to travel a reasonable distance but not too much farther of there are some biting fish nearby that we can reach by wading only. thanks again for any help

right in the campground area always produces fish. Thats probably going to be your most consistant area right now. It gets stocked also soo it always has fish.

You can also walk up river, but its a long walk and unless you stay in the river, you have quite the hike up and out when you are done.

If you fish the hole in the campground with the handicap dock. Use a small size 10 hook with a garlic marshmellow and a small piece of worm. My kids always kill them in that hole with that combo.

Flies size 14-16 parachute adams, renegades, royal wolffes, PMDs etc...

This is no secret as this is a family fishing water and stocked regulary.
