Light-N-Strike lures

Has any one tried these lures that are advertised on TV? Tried one last wek even though it was cloudy and the light didn't work as well. Had something on it last week but snapped my 8lb leader.

I haven seen one of these yet.

we are in the middle of pike season and them 8 pound test line just dont hold up as well as we would like them to against them toothy critters.
