Yep it is. That's why I bought it. Really it was a gun case but who cares. I hate the plastic type. I did have to cut the egg shell foam to fit my rods and reels. When I got it home I thought it might fit in the cab of my truck. So when I placed it in the back it fit just perfect. There is a lip on each side of my truck that wooks to hold it in place. Just about 8 inches off the froor. I still can but a few things under it. I think I might buy another for some other emergancy items I have like radios, first aid kit, flashlight etc...

[cool]That's a nice looking outfit. Do they have any that hold jsut a couple more rods?? Do you modify it to fit your needs or does it come ready for just 3 rods??
Looks good. You can never have enough gear transport equipment. I do agree with you on the bazookas. They are a little rough.

The Dimensions are 15" Long 9" wide and 3.5 " deep. There is a foam insert about 1.5" thick thats added to the box that is eggshell on one side flat on the other. There is more foam that has been glued to the top and bottom of case. I forgot to tell you guys that my fly rig in underneath the foam with abunch of other accessories. So there is more room under the first pad of foam. What I need to do is get some more foam that is flat instead on both sides to make this work even better.

Nope because it is 51" long inside. Most of my rods except for my ultalight pole break down to 41" which leaves plenty of room.
