Utah lake lindon or af??

This week I have too fish close by home and I was wondering how much of ice are on the main lakes by lindon or af harbor. Would love to adventure far out on that lake if it's safe enough.

A couple of weeks ago there was 5-7" of ice around the Lindon harbor. 6-8" inside of the harbor.

I just want too know how much ice is out of the harbor and I know about that website but it doesn't tell me how much is out in the middle of the lake .

What would the point be of fishing out in the middle of the lake? You're not hoping to find some structure are you? I really think your best bet is inside the harbors or maybe outside them within 20 ft from shore if you feel you must fish the main lake..

I just want to find some more perch, bluegills, and stay away from the white bass because last time I went it was white bass every drop and got pretty boring so I want more variety of fish instead of wb all day. Would be awesome to catch a catfish or walleye in the main lake.

Do you know if there any really rock areas around the main lake. I just started fishing Utah lake this winter. Sadly it's so close to home and Iv'e just started fishing it. >_<

provo boat harbor I heard thru the grape vine they were catching some nice Perch. Sometimes you have to put up with the white bass. They sure make your garden grow[].

What do you mean by grape vine by provo harbor. Like there's real grape fruit vines in the area or its just a part of utah lake called the grape vine???

No there isn't any GRAPE VINES growing down there.

Just punched some holes in Provo harbor-12". The river has capped over to boot, didn't venture out on it to check though. I stopped by there around 6 pm, the harbor is wheeler worthy and the surrounding the harbor is solid.

Just trying to help. Fish out toward the hotsprings if you want bluegills and perch.

also if you go by the springs be carful, they can fluctuate from being completey capped to open in a span of a few hours. lots of crappies near the springs though.

There are several spots around and under the lake where inflows enter Utah Lake. The area around Saratoga Springs has several. Also several at Lincoln Beach. But those springs are a lot lower flow and cooler temperatures than in days of old.
