I was there on Monday and the ice was about 8" and there were some quad tracks that I could see as I drove around the lake.

Yup. 8" at least. Several snow machines were on the ice today south of Cemetery. No worries.
Even the local Fire guys were out doing some training or something. They have a spot roped off and they came down and cut a big hole with chain saws today - but I didn't see anybody doing a "polar Bear" swim! [signature]

Our group had two snowmobiles on PV today. Ice is approx 6-7" clear with another 2-3" of frozen snow. No issues with sleds...at the end of the day we drove from the South Side of Cemetary Point swim beach area all the way to the Port Ramp parking area to check conditions. There was some grey ice (slush) patches in areas but not much and not huge...went through a couple on the drive to the Port Ramp.
Port Ramp is accessible to drive vehicles in as it is packed down from other vehicles...maybe a little rutty in spots. Good luck and have fun. [signature]
