I eneded up getting a mongoose, It was quite a bit cheaper about 40 dollars, and came with both a pedistal and clamp mount. Has a bunch of great reviews and cant wait to spin up some bugs, now time to find a light!

I like these little led lights from Ikea. The one in the link is the table model, but they have a clip on model also that is about $14.

I got that light! The clamp on that is. I got it because my keyboard on my lap top is black and I can't see shizz.
Very cool light and the clamp has suction cups so pretty stable, but they are a DEEP clamp so you need some surface to attach it. I second check out IKEA.

However, I use this light as I need the magnification. It is a circle of LED's (there is a video)

Magnetic base so I glues a big washer to my station as the clamp would not clear on the support. Plus runs on AC or on 3 AAA batteries.
I used it this weekend in Idaho at the tying Expo and it drew more attention than the flies.
Oh and the magnifier/lights unscrews for easy packing.

Finally got a chance to spin a few bugs and cant believe the difference. Compared to my cheap vise the holding power is awesome! Great vise and it came with a nice bobbin as well. Highly recomended. It will take a while to get used to the bobbin cradle and the rotary but love it so far.
