Me and a friend were fishing today and caught this fish and thought it was a carp but the little horn type things were throwing us off. Also the fish seemed to be a little beat up when it was caught. Any answers would sure be helpful, thanks.

That's one ugly carp crying for a big knife in his belly

I have another question. Will these carp start to overrun our pond?

There's not much carp won't overrun. Depends on your pond too. Some community ponds get planted with grass carp that are sterile. But I think they tend to be C&R on those carp (helps keep the weeds down)
But that looks more like a common carp. Maybe been prodded with a few arrows?

Dude - you're going acronym crazy with all that carp terminology.
Hmmmm - terminal carp. Now THAT sounds like a winner!
Long as you're enjoying yerself, it's all good.

That is a sucker, not a carp. A severely beat up one, at that.
This first link is basically the same type of fish
The second is a common carp
They're easy to tell the difference between, carp usually are much bigger than suckers, and certain types of suckers, like the one you caught, have their mouth positioned a lot lower/
