My Rainbow on the fly video

Here is a quick 2 minute video I made of an exciting fight with a flying rainbow trout. When the fish ran at me I tangled my line on the tip of the rod and almost broke it.

Need to get you up to our Soldier Creek, Wind. Almost every single fish caught up there goes airborne.
Loved the music....I even bought 50 First Dates for that song..[laugh]

Yep. I love flying rainbows. There is a lake in Yellowstone that has a bunch of 12-14" rainbows with a beautiful red band. They fly above head level in the tube.

I would love to fish Soldier Creek with you guys some time. I think Deep Creek would be a good lake to try your slip bobber rig as well. I wish I would have had my stuff with me on that particular day. I forgot my vest at home.
