Buzz has a &quot;new to him boat&quot; and invited me to go for some bass today so we put in about 6:30 this morning in search of some good bass. We fished shallow most of the am using frogs and a worm every now and again. Right off I got a heart stopping blow up on a frog but he missed it totally. Buzz was using a horney toad and I was using a rage tail. We got hits on both types and boated a few but no big ones today. We fished some great looking grass looking for some pigs but decided to try some deep drops and did that a while but not any luck so we went back to the grass but in a different area but no luck. Then tried some drops from about 6 to 14 ft and managed a couple more. Finished the day with about 8 bass. We quit at 12 noon. <br /><br />It was great to get out with Buzz in his new rig. Thanks Buzz for the invite. <br /><br />
