With the pmds coming off whats your favorite pattern. I need some good patterns to tie up. Alot of the ones Ive seen are pt nymphs.

I like to tie a p t style nymph but instead of feathers use only flashabou for the whole fly .One of my favorite flies and flashabou comes in lots of colors[]

Haresear then CDC emerger with a little yellow in the dubbing. then either a parachute or a comparadun.

Steve,
This is a style of dry fly that really fishes well. Even though the article listed below is showing the baetis version, just change the colors and the PMD version can really kill it too. I fished a Drake version of it recently and it was by far the most effective pattern of the day.

Just pheasant tail!! But for legs I put goose biots also no copper. I also put clear coat on the head ( the shell ). cuz most places I go get fish a lot so yo want a natral pattern!
