I have been wanting to tie some new patterns that are effective. I just don't know which flies to tie with so many out there. Any ideas? I mainly fish the lower Provo but I do fly fish for bass quite a bit. I don't like tying or fishing dry flies much, so I am looking more for nymphs and streamers.
Thanks, Luke

Have you tied soft hackles? Also for nymphs I love the halfback!

If you are looking for streamers---Try Mike Schmidt (Steelhead Alley), Brian Wise (Youtube) he ties Kelly Galloup etc., or Jeremy Hunt on Youtube (Taneycomotrout.com). OR Curtis Fry of Utah. Have Fun.
