Here are some carp that I have caught at lake mead in sept.

Just wanted to share some pictures of carp that some friends and I have caught mostly at night time at lake mead (33 hole area).

Edit: My foot is size 11 and the shoe is roughly 12" long for a size reference.

All fish were released alive except for one because my friend wanted to see what they taste like. He said it wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Similar to catfish.

Nice carp man, and welcome to the forum as well--I've heard that same report before about the taste of carp, I just can't do it man lol the first carp I cleaned was the last. They're so vascular, bleeding all over the place, and have huge organs...I'll stick to striper
