Foxy Jigs
#1
I'm trying to locate some Foxy Jigs, white with small speckles.. They seem to have disappeared from all the tackle stores here in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Anyone have any leads as to where to get any?

I think I know are talking about. you may want to try wallmart, though they dont have much,

there was a store here in Mivhigan "Meijers" that sold them last year. they went on clearance last spring, they went for around 50 cents apeice. I grabbed the ones I like, I know I did not buy enough.

I will keep looking for the manufacture of those lures and if it comes up I will drop you a line...

I saw a bunch of them at one time but can't remember where. I'll hafta search the local stores for you. If I find some, want me to pick some up and ship them out to you? What colors would you want?

Try Hooked Fishing Tackle in Kaysville, I don't know if they have them. Give them them a call and ask for Cory or James. If they don't have them, they might can order them, heck if they work, I'll even buy some. Tell em IFG sent you. No, they don't give me commision.

Thanks Chris, I'll remember that. I'm keeping a close eye on the ice conditions at Scofield and Strawberry. I love to head out there with my ATV and hunt down the rainbows. 6" on Scofied already, and if the cold weather keeps us I may be able to get out there soon.

Hey Archie, welcome to BFT message boards. I have a suggestion on a place to find your jigs. There is one of our sponsors here on the site that may be able to help you out. Here is a link to their site.

check them out if they don't have exactly what you are looking for, they may have something that you also need.

Happy Fishing and thanks for sharing with us.

It is gone now. It was one of the white ones on the left side of the pages. Maybe I can find another one. I was just trying to direct him through one of our sponsors first.

ok, that explains why the link didnt work... the adds in the white boxes go through several places before they get here,

I think I know which one you are refering to, it is not our sponcer but I may have book marked it. I check to see if I can find it.

I want to thank all you guys for helping me out. I wish I had one of the jigs to show you. I'm going to have to ask my friend if he's still got one and I'll post a picture of it. In the meantime I'll check Ace and just keep looking.

Dave,

You beat me to it! I was just at Sportsman's Warehouse last week and saw the "Foxee Jigs" in the Blue Fox packaging. Found the white ones but none with speckles.

Just did a Google search for "Foxy Jigs" and found several mentions of them but no links yet on where to find them. I did, however, find the following on page 3 of the search results:

"BigFishTackle.com Fishing Message Boards : General Fishing: Ice ...... First ice trip for 2003. PREDATOR, 4, Dec 1, 2003, 3:22 PM. Foxy Jigs, Archie, 9, Nov 28, 2003, 10:14 AM. New poll for week of Nov. 16... www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/ gforum/gforum.cgi?forum=4 - 72k - Cached - Similar pages"

There's a few forums which popped up that mention the "Foxy Jigs". You may want to sign up for those and ask them.
