Pelican - Day One

Brought the family out to Pelican for a nice two day outing. We arrived at the lake at 2 pm and we were fishing by 2:30.

We parked by the boat launch and headed due north in search of 8-10 FOW. It really didn't take long, we only had to drill once to find 10 FOW. After drilling 8 holes, we setup for the rest of the day.

The fishing was absolutely great and we had a blast because not only did we catch a lot of bluegill, we loaded up on LMB. The funniest event of the day was when my wife stepped in her hole and went down all the way to her thigh. Good thing we were leaving.

hey thanks for the report and pictures. Nothing better than getting the family out on the ice and catching lots of fish.[cool]

I cant wait to get back down there as soon as I can. We have had to great days on the ice in the past couple weeks. Lots of nice bass and bluegills
