Fished for a few hours just before dark at the air force docks yesterday. I caught three small trout that looked like recent planters and a crawdad that tried to take my bait.
Packed it in just before dark when I realized I forgot to buy a fishing license for 2014. Oops. Went over to the Fishing Hole in Bruneau to get a license after stopping for a minute at Cottonwood to check things out. The Bruneau arm is still iced over, but I didn't see anyone fishing and didn't risk going out on the ice since I was by myself. The lady behind the counter at the store said the ice was getting pretty mushy.
Haven't been fishing in about two months, so it was nice to get out anyway.
