Hey everyone i just moved here from Florida.. just wanted to introduce myself in the Utah Forum. I have been fishing my whole life. I also build custom fishing rods anything from shark rods to light fly rods. I can also do repairs on just about anything. Reason i got onto this site i because i am lost when it comes to fishing around here.. Hope theres someone on here that would like to help me out. I live in the salt lake area. Looking forward to meeting some new people and making some new fishing buddies.. thanks

as the most wise-assed mod on the board, welcome. All they've said so far. Plenty of fish, especially if you like trout. BUT - if you like REEL fish like, oh - CATFISH - you can take a look at the contest board. Maybe you'd want to pitch a line in and join the fun.
So you're a jack of all trades. You'll find a kin-ship with many creative and inventive sorts here. Nothing you can't do with duct tape and PVC.
Saw a photo from a surfer's gopro snapping shots under his board, and one showed a shark pass a footlengths away. I'd post it, but didn't save. Think he could use one of your shark rods!
Done a little Florida fishing myself many moons ago.
Here's one for throwback Thursdays. That's my mum on the left.
