It does matter. What really matters though is the Ranch opens in 84 days, and I'll be fishing on that Henry's Fork in 90 days!

Great rainbow! I've been trying to catch some stillwater trout with my fly rod, but haven't had any luck. Do you usually have to cast far?

If I am on shore I always start off close and work out unless I am casting to a rise. These trout were about 10 feet off shore. I could see there shadow. I was indicator nymphing so I cast a little farther out and ahead of them then watched to se if they turned. Pretty cool.
