[#0000FF]No fishing reports this week...yet. But getting ready to join Geezer for a trip on Utah Lake this morning. May or may not put up a report...especially if I keep a big fish.

The weather keeps changing and I plan my trips around it. I can handle cold, snow and rain but not wind. Wind makes it too difficult to hold position in a float tube. Plus, I fish mostly light gear and finesse techniques. When the wind doesn't allow that then I ain't fishing.

I fish for enjoyment...not endurance.

Maybe that was my problem yesterday morning --- there was a pretty decent wind blowing me constantly out of the fishing hole and I couldn't get my stuff to go straight down... it was always bouncing across the bottom and even sitting my lines would pull at about a 45 degree angle.


FG -- that toon looks awesome. Good luck with it! I'm going to be "in the market" .... at the end of the season for some sort of frameless pontoon to replace my Tube and Toon combination.

That one is on the list.
