Slow early morning, started at river park and motored downstream. I started at daylight, my fishing buddy wouldn't get out of bed, so that never stopped me. Hit the bend and despite no current worked the drops and managed a few keepers including a 4-3 and several just under three. About 9 cell phone was blowing up and begging for a ride so I loaded up and went back for his sorry butt. We started again near bridges and lucky caught two nice ones, both over four in about 5 minutes then around 1:00 things shut-off. Fished 8 to 10 FOW and deeper as day went. Only thing they would look at was plastics. Broke a blade on trolling motor on a log, getting to stingy and not wanting to retie, now it's going to cost more than a hook. Enjoyed this morning, been couple weeks off water on vacation.
