Cleveland Reservoir with pics.
#1
I fished Cleveland today from 9:00 until 3:00 in my kick boat. I used fly gear with a medium sinking (#3) line and size 6-8 bead head leeches and soft hackles. The best colors for the leeches was Canada blood , olive, and purple. The colors for the soft hackles black/green and black/copper. A lot of fish were within 8' - 10' of the surface and some were feeding on midges and flying ants on the surface. The water temperature was 58-61 degrees and the visibility in the water was about 3'-4' because of algae. The fish were all in the 12" - 17" range and in great shape. The reservoir level is at 77% full and dropping slowly. Most of the fish were hooked while stripping the line in. If you just trolled and twitched the line, they didn't seem interested. This reservoir holds some decent fish but doesn't get the attention of a Mammoth with tigers, just up the road. The leaves are just starting to change here at almost 9,000'.[inline P1040953(1).JPG]0[inline P1040949(1).JPG]'[inline P1040946(1).JPG].[inline P1040945(1).JPG] [inline P1040944(1).JPG][inline P1040943(1).JPG]

Thanks for posting your report and pics. I've never fished Cleveland but it looks like a decent little lake.
