I have never used riggers at Bear Lake. I probably will some day though.

I'll be up there Saturday the 25th. Stop by and say hi to N.E.T.O., Bait_Caster, and myself. We'll be drifting out somewhere around the rock pile. We'll be in the Gregor with the nose way in the air.

Hi ReelMasta , I was at Bear Lake Thursday through Sunday. The weather was outstanding and glass like water to fish in, but the fishing wasn't as nice. We did catch some fish but very few and they are very tight lipped. Speed was 1.5 - 2.0 mph and we were trolling anywhere from 30 ft. deep to 100 ft. deep. The Lake Trout are spawning and nothing is really biting. I was fishing on the East side, I am going back to Bear Lake on Saturday morning and this time I am going to the West side by the Rockpile near Gus Rich Point. I am hoping that the spawn might be ending and the bite might be on.
I am in a 17 ft. Blue and White Starcraft Superfisherman, and Old Coot is a very good friend of mine.

Hey ole Dan, good to see ya poking your head in here once in a while. I won't recognize your boat so throw something at me (like your best mack lure) to get my attention.
