Mud Creek ice yet?

[cool]I want to get into some big trout and Scofield sucks these days with all of the chubs and dinky cut snakes...

So... I'm kind of thinking Mud Creek Bay should have safe ice about now, but I'll bet the road into it isn't cool for cars right now with this snow we just got. Anybody have a report? Feel free to private message me if you plan on ice fishing it this weekend and don't want 500 BFT lurkers there...

Took a ride up to the Berry yesterday. Driving past mud creek it looked like it had some ice on it in the shallows, 75% of it is not frozen. Give it another week... The road to the marina is plowed and snow packed. The road down to mud creek is plowed and snow packed. I did see a 2 wheel drive car up there but you better be careful. The rest of the Berry is wide open. Caught a half dozen from shore right behind the store at the marina. 16 degrees was the high for the day at the marina. There was about 16" of new snow.
