Don't get me wrong I've loved mantua this year, especially the quality perch. I just needed some elbow room today. Checked out Hyrum and found 4" of clear slippery ice. I wanted to target bass and went to a spot I marked on my GPS that I thought would produce. It produced but I failed to get the bass through the hole! Popped off my only bass hook up. Luckily the 10" bows kept me a company and some pesky 5-6" perch. It was sure nice hole hopping and not crowding others. The sunset made the evening worth it. Fished from 1:00-4:30.

Looks like a great evening. We hit PV and also stayed til the sun went down. Very nice sunsets on the ice.
