I was wanting to head up to Porcupine but was wondering if it would be worth my time, if anyone has ice conditions and if any fish are active, thank you

Don't waste your time, ice is plenty thick at 8" by the dam but the catching is way slow. By the way welcome to the site.

Curt is it really that slow? I've been hoping to have a good spot to go try in a couple weeks. Later J

Well I guess it depends on what you call slow, we were there almost 6 hours and only caught two and Ira caught them both.[blush] No kokes, didn't even see any come threw. One other guy there, he did not even stay as long as we did and I don't think he caught anything. That doesn't mean another day would not be better but...it wasn't for us that day.
