I was hoping Panguitch Lake still had some ice since its been such a weird ice season. My brother in law and I headed out early Saturday morning and found a good 10" of ice. It cracked all day, but the edges were good and the fishing was pretty good as well.
We went to the middle of the lake were we figured had the least pressure. Fishing was slow to start, but once the sun came up it started heating up.
The fish weren't biting hard and only gave me one or two chance, but just like the past trips to Panguitch this year we caught some very healthy cutts. It was a fun day and we ended up with about 20 fish between the 2 of us. I also got a Go Pro so I spent some time trying to figure it out.
