Jordanelle
#1
Has anyone been on, driven by, or looked at Jordanelle in the last day or two. Was reading the posts about Browns and have an itch to try it tomorrow morning in a float tube.

the whole lake is open except it appeared there was still some ice near the inlet in the rock cliff arm

Thank You!! I was thinking of driving to Rock Cliff first to see if I can get on the water there, but might be better off using the PWC ramp and fish that area in the morning. I have a feeling it's going to be cold

With this north wind that has been blowing both ramps should be open now for launching.

I was there last Friday the 20th and the main ramp and harbor area was still iced in. the PWC ramp was open and with one dock in the water. The south end was ice free. I couldn't see up the east arm so I don't know if it was still ice covered. I hope that helps.

I know this time of year it isn't a factor, but heading into to summer I was wondering if Jordanelle still have a major problem with an infestation of rattlesnakes around the banks and rocks, or was that just a rumor from a few year back? I would love for my kids to fish the bank but worry about that, because they wander a lot.
