Well we caught only 2 Bass and a number of bluegill maybe the size of you hand. Had other hits but no takers and the perch evaded us as well as the crappie.

My motor did great until we were heading back in. I had checked the motor but had not checked the plugs. We limped back to cottonwood and they were fouled. I must remember to check them more often.

Wish I had known you were there. We could've compared notes. From looking at your picture, you weren't too far from where we were. We fished from just after daylight until about 12. We filled 2/3 of a bucket with a combined catch of crappie and perch ranging from 9 to 12 inches. We got 0 bass, trout, and bluegill, but we did pick up 1 squaw fish.

Fish were at varying depths and I really had to watch the sonar and fish straight down (much like I would when ice fishing) to keep my lure in their face or just a bit above them. You know how I like to ice fish, so then you'll also know what lure they where hitting. []

We started at the power balls and started working our way East and anchored at a little bay that we came upon. Guess I should have called or you could have called me. Would have been nice to have a heads up, but we had a very nice day!

I'm no expert but I can put u on fish. Think of the narrows as a river. Work the seams.

Fished there today, I have never caught that many bluegill anywhere ever. 20 ft in the narrows, drop shot worms. Of course the bass fishing was great early, but the guys with me wanted perch.
