Brownlee Crappie

Heading to Brownlee next week looking for some Crappie action. Any recent reports/locations? I haven't fished it for close to 15 years. I will be fishing from a float tube. Any advice will be greatly appreciated and I don't plan on keeping any.

which part of Brownlee are you headed to ?

I didn't have any particular section in mind and I'm open to any suggestions. I'm driving up from Burley/Rupert area and I'm willing to travel as far down river as needed. I appreciate your advice very much!

I hear the fish are pretty small this year.

I was at Woodhead campground last weekend and was catching them in Brownlee cove along the steep rocks. Nothing special but they were biting. I'll be going back up around the 16 for another whack at them.

I didn't find any crappie at Woodhead. Caught several small bass and had good weather. Never have a bad day of fishing!
