I Just got a Outcast Scout and have been looking for mounts for rod holders, and a fish finder. How are these and are they easy to install? Look like flygoddess using them all the time. ( they look great by the way ) any help would be great.

Thanks for the info, I went and got some Stabond u 148. This should work, It says on the can to use 1 coat on both the boat and the mount. But I have seen some use up to 3 coats in some of the video. Why would they do 2 to 3 coats if the can says 1?

I bought and used the Stabond on my Fuzion (because of the rough texture of the boat) I did the three coat thing. It is holding well after a year but the D rings are coming up a little.
On the smooth material of the Outcast, you can probably use the single coat stabond (make sure for Vinyl).
My boats are more a Urethane cover (except the Predator) I used the two part Sta Bond on three of my boats. On the other two I used LOC TITE for Vinyl. It is about one third the cost, last longer and seems to hold up as well after three years so far.
Good luck.

I also did the 3 coats while Ive never used Stabond if its anything like Vyna-bond the glue and glue process is a little different than normal glue or what im use too.
You wipe on the glue and wait for about 5 minutes the glue needs to set or be partially dried and tacky. By putting on a second or 3rd coat you reactivate the glue and add another layer or more glue for adhesion.
For rod holders 1 to 2 layers probably would suffice but in the NRS video they use 3 layers for D-rings and Foot cups due to the increased pressure these attachments will get.
Oh and on a side note ( FG taught me this) get you a Big bottle of 303 aerospace protectant and wipe down your toon down every so often it will keep the sun from fading the color from your toon.

I got some info from FG several years ago on this same mount. I also used Stabond bought from a store of her recommending in the Salt Lake area.(Don't remember the name just now) They were rock solid. Everything I had hoped for and more. They looked like they were made to go on my pontoon when all was said and done. I would HIGHLY recommend! Good luck!
