I caught 2 skinny 19 inchers yesterday while trolling cranks fast for wipers. The shad aren't quite big enough to fill a belly yet. Caught 4 wipers too. I was only out from 0915 'til noon though.

I caught a couple as well on Sunday going pretty fast looking for wiper. Got both of them with a perch Rapala trolling near the light pole at about 3.5 mph.

It isn't as good as it was last month but they never stopped biting, that will change as soon as the shad get big enough to eat. Like mentioned, a lot of them are skinny.
