millers flat report

Hit Cleveland for a couple hours sat afternoon, only caught 2 10" planters between 4 of us. So we headed over to millers flat for the last 2 hours of light where we managed around 40 fish, including a few 14-16" footballs which was a pleasant surprise for millers flat. All fish were caught on a black pistol pete pulled behind a bubble full of water so it would sink below the surface.

It sounds like slow fishing on Cleveland but Miller Flat saved the day. When I fished them in July, I marked more big fish on Miller Flat than I did at Cleveland, and that surprised me. The levels are low in both of them, under 30% full.

Did you catch anything besides rainbows?

Thanks for the report, I just posted my own report too. I have caught some cutthroats out of Cleveland, but not Miller's Flat. there are supposedly some big cutthroats in Miller's Flat...
