I fished PV last weekend, and there was 6 inches of crystal clear, solid ice. The weather has been a bit milder than last weeks arctic freeze, and I'm wondering if anyone has a current report on the condition of the ice? I want to head out tomorrow, but not if it's transitioned to an unsafe mess.
Thank you in advance!

I fished Pineview with a buddy yesterday from 8am until dark. The ice was in great shape off the north side of cemetery point. The edge is soft but the ice was around 7-8" where we fished. Maybe an inch of slush on the ice in the afternoon. Fishing was fair early for perch and crappie, and really picked up in the late afternoon.

Sorry man I didn't head up after work yesterday. At that point I thought our trip today was going to be canceled. But at 9 last night my buddy told me it was back on. Where we were there was 6-7 inches of good clear ice.
