Hit lost creek today at 8am. Temp was 20 degrees. Ice was 6 inches thick. Slush monster showed up around the edges by the time we left at 3. Still a little slow for us. We had marked fish most of the day but had a hard time teasing the bite. tried everything in the box. Green was still the favorite tipped with power bait. We only iced 3 fish but had a lot of bites missed. We let the kids take as many of the bites as we could to try to keep them interested. We had a good time and the air temp was warm enough that we did not need the ice tent.
Someone asked about machines on the ice. There were plenty of machines on the ice today. With 6 inches of clear solid ice, you are good.

Same for us. out of 5 of us we got 1 fish. same story last Saturday, I think I am done with Lost Creek for awhile, brutal hike to get on and off the ice with no fish as a reward. still fun to be out, also DWR officers were out on machines checking everybody which I love seeing.

I agree, i think I will try another fishery next weekend. I want the kids to get some fish. We try Hyrum and Pineview.

We fished right of the spill way about half way between the spill way and the bank. We were out about 30 yards from the shore on 25' of water. We saw some people fishing the corner but they were not having much success. Let me know if that makes sense.

Wipermac, did you go north and how far? I saw people fishing on the west bank pretty far north but I have never had good luck there.
