Hit the Berry yesterday 1/30 and had an epic day. There were 9 of us that headed over to Renegade via the ice. 10 inches of slush/snow most everywhere past Haws point, snowmobiles did fine but I wouldn't recommend taking a wheeler over there. We didn't fish where we wanted to because of the slush, we found a small hard spot of ice on top of 32 fow. Fish were at all depths and liked 2" glow grubs the best, but took most everything. We all caught 10+ fish with a few catching 20+ and 2 slot busters. One 23" and the other one snuck down the hole before we got a measurement. Mostly all slot cutts with 6 or 7 bows, all fish were released.

Nice report & pics. Were they hot for one bait type over another? Heard waxies were doing better than mealies or earthworms.

Thanks Titelines. We didn't have any mealies but I would say the waxies worked better than the night crawlers.

There have been mixed reports form strawberry. Do you think the storm and low pressure had much to do with your successful day. Love you pictures.
