Painting Tubes
#1
Was wanting to customize some of my Bear Lake tubes. Anyone know what I can use to paint up my soft plastics?

I have heard of people using a product call Spike-It Scent markers or Spike-It Dip-N-Glo. I personally cannot attest to them because I haven't every tried them. But I would like to give them a shot sometime.

Spike-It sells a "Worm & Chunk Paint" that is meant for painting soft plastics like tubes.

[#0000FF]That SpikeIt Worm and Chunk Paint is especially formulated for painting plastic baits. Unlike penetrating dyes it coats and bonds to the plastic...and does not bleed colors like the dyes. It is permanent. Great for adding eyes, spots, vertical bars, horizontal stripes, etc.

Only problem is that it is generally available in only a few colors...and in only small 1 oz. bottles. I buy larger 4 oz. cans in a wide variety of colors from the Lureworks division of "ISpikeIt". And I also get it in clear...for adding a top glitter coat. Also...I get lots of thinner. You need it. That stuff is very volatile and dries out. You need to keep it thinned.

I'm out of town and away from my computer pic files right now. Shoot me a PM next week and I can send some pics and a few pages of writeup on how to get special effects from the worm paints. Or you would be welcome to bring down some of your plastics and I can show you how to customize them how you want. I have blue, black, red, orange, greens, chartreuse, white, purple and some color mixes. They actually go on quickly and easily and dry to the touch in only a few minutes.
