Im gonna be up fishing the snake in between Marsing and Huston here in a couple weeks and was curious what I could expect to catch? I know theres cats roaming around but not sure about much else. Also any info on Lake Lowell would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah I threw it on there but didn't get more than a response. for the small mouth would it just be throwing a curly tail grub or what would you recommend?

Smallies should take the curly tails pretty good. I have never fished the snake. I have fished the Henry's fork before but it's been years. Find a local tackle shop where you're going and see what they recommend.

Fished near Marsing for a couple of hours Saturday night. a couple small tugs on the cat rods but couldn't get anything to commit. Saw a few fish surfacing as the sun was going down and tossed on a 1/4 jig head with a 3" white curly tail. Every cast after that had a small mouth on it with most of them being in the 12-14 inch range. Probably around 25-30 fish total.
