Mr. S, Chick, ?Crappie?, 08/10/16, Onsie
#1
Well I hit the water about 5:30 am, looked hi and lo, ran to CFP scanned around the deeper sides of humps and along the channel at the entrance, nothing to mention. Ran down to Wiconda Point scanning a few docks, found some fish under a dock but could not seem to figure out the "flavor of the day". I know there are Crappie in Wiconda Bay, I had a Uncle that used to sack'em there on a regular basis. He is fishing in that big lake in Heaven now, God rest his soul. Scanned some more deep points found one decent school of what I assume to be Crappie, the target species, still could not figure out the "flavor of the day". I have noticed that the crappie reports have all but dried up around here. Apparently I'm just not getting it, I know their still biting, I have read DK is still sackin'em, I think he could catch crappie in a bath tub! Anywho, If anyone is willing to take on a student, I'm your man. Maybe better luck this weekend.

Keep on emoAngler
