As everyone is saying it's been as tough as I have seen it since I have been fishing chickamauga. We started out fishing top water and not even a look. Moved to another spot and some deeper water and still no takers. On the way out of the creek we decided to look at a place I had caught fish before but wasn't expecting much. It was mostly a bluff like area. We did catch a few and out towards the end we caught more pulling a worm with a light weight across the top of the submerged grass. That was pretty much the pattern for the rest of the day. We then moved back to the main lake and found a area where the matted grass dropped off fairly quick and fished it. We caught several fish here but most had that nose/tail syndrome like most of our fish. We caught around 25 fish and had 1 keeper lm and 1 spot. The good thing about Friday besides fishing was I caught more fish then I had caught in the last 5 or 6 trips.
