Probably no need to venture out in a boat to catch cisco if you don't want to. Just bring up your waders and a net and you should be able to net them from shore. In fact, rarely do I wear waders on open water years, just KNEEL DOWN along the edge in order to keep a low profile and the cisco will come right in where you can net them quite easily. Who know what Mother Nature will bring us in the next couple of weeks. If it gets, and stays, cold it could freeze at any time.
