Another vote for the Marcum. I own the LX-7 but if I could do it again I think I would get the 6. The 7 is just a little big and bulky for my run and gun style. I originally bought the 7 to upgrade to get the camera installed but now have decided I'm just going to buy a separate camera. Overall very happy with the unit, and after the newest update fixing the shallow water problem I have no complaints. To upgrade you download the file from Marcum then basically drag and drop via usb.
