There is a winter pass for parking. thats 30$. without it the daily parking fees are 3$ on weekdays and 5$ on weekends and holidays. if you want to acquire a winter pass, they can be obtained from the camp host ( who is located in a mobile home on the north side of the campground) his phone number is (208) 241-2936.
Rigging: pink swedish pimples tipped with firecorn. i like to put trebles on instead of single hooks and sharpen them to razors. the schools come through between 15-30 feet of water. if you have a flasher use it it will help immensely. For me this fishing has been good from 11am -1pm. Fish with the groups. more people working the school keeps them around longer. Constant jigging has been the ticket. there is quite the wait between schools. so i generally put another rod down on the bottom and fish for perch and trout.
Where to fish: ive been fishing out south from the boat dock in about 55-60 FOW. if you have any sonar it'll take a lot of the guesswork out. today was jam packed with people. if you just look for where a lot of people have been fishing and look for scales on the ice it'll be easier to hone in on where they like to pass through. they tend to come through the same areas day after day.
If you have anymore questions let me know. ill be up there next week as well.
