Amen, Lonehunter. Same problem here in Colorado. The governor appoints one of his big campaign contributors to an important post like head of the DOW, saying he's been a rancher, farmer, outdoors type, etc and is the best person for the job. It usually turns out to be the best for his buddies and special interests (i.e. oil, timber and developers) but not the sportsman. I've lost track of how many DOW heads have sat in that customized leather chair in Denver and did nothing. I also am fed up with these so-called experts telling us, the ones out in the field and on the lakes, what is best for us, without asking.

Maybe we should take note of Hollywood Hulk Hogan and develop a strangle hold. I'd sure like to use it on a few politicians in this state.
