Yer Mr. Heater will really struggle to keep you warm. I have a 3 man eskimo ice tent and I use a 15,000 btu heater at 10,000 btu's during the day, but when I fished at night at strawberry a couple of weeks ago, we had to turn it up to the max. I fished at the marina, about 30 to 40 yards off from the boat gas fill up area in about 20 ft of water. We did well using night crawlers and wax worms. I caught everything, my partner caught nothing. I had the vexilar, he had nothing, and got nothing. We fished at Deer Creek thru the night the next week and had similar results. You have the lake to yourself. No screaming snowmobiles, no screaming people, very quiet and quite nice. But really cold. Really really cold. The tent walls frosted up, but we stayed warm with just sweat shirts on. I say go for it. Take a stove and cook something. You will also need a good lantern that you can hang from the roof. Shadows are a bugger. The fish were biting really light, so I'd recommend a good tip sensor as the shadows make it really tough to see much in the hole.[reply]
