The day started off great with a ton of baitfish action in the back of a few coves. We only managed one trophy sized hybrid bass, so it was worth the trip. I got a lot of bites off a grub and an in-line spinner (large rooster tail). It was a really tough day overall. The core had dropped the water pretty fast on us so it was an interesting afternoon overall.
