Ordinance Passed for Ririe Res
#25
Thanks for the ordinance post. Pretty straight forward except definition of ATV is appears to be pretty sketchy.

So with this definition, does it include the Razor type vehicles, side by sides, etc? Reading the plain language of the ordinance, appears not to include such vehicles. Under Idaho Code, which would dominate this ordinance, is here: https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/sites/default/files/uploads/documents/Recreation/OHV%20Website/OHV%20Laws,%20Rules%20and%20Requirements_2011.pdf

I'm not a user or owner of any of these vehicles so I don't have an issue in this, but, maybe Bonneville county should make the ordinance match with Idaho Code or I could see many or should I say, a ticket issued under the ordinance to be dismissed or lost in court. Just a suggestion and thought. No sense in trying to fix a definition that isn't broken and has been tried and proven over and over.
