Hi there lonehunter,
I asked about a year ago.
I heard that the bears with badges also hibernate. No No that's not true. I actually read that the ice does not get thick enough to support safe fishing. Ya right! I think it's because of the single narrow road around the lake with steep sides along the mountian side of the road as well as parts of the lake shore. After all, it is not a natural lake. They want skiers but not anglers!
