cbastnagel, North Chickamauga Creek near Thrashed Bridge5, Trout and Blue Gill, 10/14/2017
#1
Decided to walk North Chickamauga Creek starting at The Thrasher Pike Bridge to scout out a trip for the kids next week. Was surprised to see that the water was up and not dried out. Walked about a mile and a half in the water and in places it was up to my waist. Couldnt believe it when I pulled in 2 rainbow trout and a slew of bluegill. Normally we don't catch trout this late in the year there but I guess there are some holding over near where the spring comes in. When the water is darker usually catch some bass but with the water being clean from the rain it was Trout and Blue Gill.

Everything was caught on blue deer hair jigs with wax worms or IkeCon worms.
