Me and Capt. Ty Konkle made our annual January coldwater catfish foray today. I bailed out and left Ty on the water after nine hours of fishing. We boated two catfish per hour - total of 18. But we lost a few fish, had a lot of misses and little nibblers today... plenty of action. Sometimes they can be real finicky about taking a bait when the water temp is 40 degrees. Our big fish were 26, 22, 16, 15 and 12. Of course I won't be surprised to hear if Ty stuck a 50 after I left. emoBang We did lose two fish we know were real good size, but no way to know how good. The big ones always get away, right?<br />
